hi all, ive just ordered a ton of crusher as a sub base for my garden patio will it hurt if i mix a few bags of building sand in with it left over from a previous job?

Personally i wouldn't add the sand. MOT type 1 is more commonly used for a sub-base which needs levelled. Crusher run is fine for bringing up levels and for fill but be warned it can often have pretty large chunks in it.
