Used it for the first time today. I had to re-silicone two bathrooms and a kitchen sink and hob. As usual, I used sharp chisels and a 9mm snap off blade to remove the bulk of the old silicone. I then sprayed the area with Multisolve. To be fair it was pretty effective at softening the thin skin left behind, which I ran the chisel over again. I did apply another couple of coats and wiped those with a dishcloth. I also used my fingernail on the old grout join (didn't want to blunt my chisels). I finished by wiping down with meths (twice). I had previously only used the Geocell (formerly Dow Corning) gell. This was definitely much cleaner and quicker to tidy up. I would recommend it, but with the caveat that I have only used it to remove silicone from tiles and kitchen worktops.
