Cupboard door - can't figure out what type of hinges to use

This is a door intended to go onto a basic frame that surrounds my electric meter and some fuses - the door will be sitting ON TOP OF the frame, it's not recessed (therefore the door is the same width as the frame).

It's a basic MDF door, doesn't need to be anything fancy.

I'm not sure what type of hinge to use.

Preferably one that will have one part screwed into the forward edge of the frame and the other part screwed to either the back or front of the door, it doesn't matter which.

i have used both types

Thanks for the suggestions, I prefer the second type.

However, I forgot to mention that this will be inside an outbuilding that's a bit open on two sides and the air can get rather damp, therefore rust could be an issue.
