Hi, in a loft cupboard I have a wall that looks poorly insulated. I'm wondering what the easiest and cheapest option is to improve it? I'm a basic DIYer and paying a builder in London to do the job would probably be more expensive than the energy it'll save over 50 years... so I should do something myself. Any easy ideas much appreciated, thank you! It's about 2m wide at the base.

Do you have access to the back of it?

Edit: Is it a gable end? I'm guessing dot and dab from the thermal image. If so then you could just stick insulated plasterboard over the whole existing wall.

No access to the back, and yes you’re correct! Thanks
