How does one remove a curry stain from a light coloured carpet. Scrubbing it as had little affect on it.

Phone the insurance company and get a new one :D
You will be very lucky if you manage to remove. Best bet is to ring a carpet cleaning firm. They will take one look at it and be able to tell you if it can be removed.

Hi there

We had a similar problem with blue chalk ground into our brand new cream carpet ... could not get it out !

Called Service Master and they took about 10 minutes to get it all out ! - Perfect !

Suggest leaving anything like this to the experts as they seem to have the right stuff that we cant get

Good luck !

Don't be so cynical Freddy & don't believe the rubbish insurance companies say about claims putting up the cost of insurance, they expect to pay out approx 85% of their income in costs & claims, which leaves them a healthy profit.

Can be as high as 115%

they make their money out of investing your premium until they have to pay out.
