Hi my niece pulled a curtain rail down and made a hole in the wall. What’s the best thing to refill the damaged hole? I was going to fill it with something and then drill extra long holes once the said product had “gone off” would expanding foam work ? Or is there a rock like filler ?

Bonding plaster is cheap or any good patching plaster.Needs at least 50mm screw into brickwork .
