I'm about to replace some cushioned vinyl flooring which I laid some years back and would appreciate any tips to avoid what happened to the original lay.
When I cut sections out of the vinyl to fit around items, the handling of the vinyl then caused tears emanating from the inner corner of the cut.
I'm thinking this time I'll put duct tape or similar on the underside of the vinyl in the places I am cutting and before I make the cut in an attempt to stop it tearing but don't really want to proceed if this doesn't help.
Anyone else experienced this or more importantly, got any tips or techniques for prevent the vinyl from tearing in cut out corners.
Thanks in advance..........
