Hi
I am laying marley Anglia's on my extension and matching an existing roof, up to a lowered ridge (about 200mm lower than the existing ridge) so the tile coursing works fine until I get to the ridge. I am pretty sure my only option is to cut and drill every tile at the ridge, is that right? Any info appreciated

its fine to cut and drill if you need too. you will need to pack up the top batten to compensate for the cut.Otherwise the tiles will not sit right

Thanks datarebal, I guess I could use a full tile with a massive headlap, but I guess that would look terrible. I can't see any other options unless anyone knows of any. I've got a 5 inch grinder so I guess buy a decent diamond blade and use masonary bit to drill them?

Keep all the head laps the same, it looks much more professional.
You can get diamond blades very cheaply these days. You don't have hundreds of cuts..
A masonry bit yes & drill before you cut
