Cutting Board Around Pilar

Hi All,

I need to cut a sheet of wooden flooring board around a large convex curve; any tips or ideas how I can make a template to mark the cut?

However you mark the curve...
Do to some cardboard first, then use that as a template.

Maybe make a gauge big enough that works on the same principle as this
