Hiya, I'm painting the wall above the stairs and the banister is proving a real pain for cutting in. Taking it off is not an option unfortunately.
It curves upwards as it comes away from the wall which was making cutting in a bit tedious so I nipped down to B&Q to see if I could get a narrow roller (approx. 20 mm in diameter) but they didn't have anything as narrow so I picked up an Anza paint pad instead.
It seem to be okay for the task. The only downside I can see so far is that it applies less paint so it'll need more coats.
Anyone else use a pad for cutting in?
