Hello,
I am thinking of building my own gate with rough sawn timber frame.
I was just going to put them together and fasten them somehow as I can't cut neat joints, so would it be better to use coach bolts to hold together a 6' square frame of 4" x 3" peces of wood (with 1 diagonal length from one corner to the other to strengthen it) or would wood screws make a better fastening, or is a badly cut joint still a better option
