Cutting the depth of kingspan

I am looking to cut 50mm kingspan down to 25mm & wondered if that would affect it's purpose obviously I would still have the foil against the frame

It's for a campervan & I have plenty of 50mm thick but no 25 mm so just wondered if it can be done

A 1200 x 2400 sheet of 25mm PIR is 30 quid, is it actually worthwhile?

Sounds like a dreadful idea to be honest, the dust from cutting that stuff is horrendous!
