Cutting thermalite blocks

Assuming the following are thermalite blocks …see attached (I can jab a screwdriver in easily), can I assume that I can cut them and the mortar line with my dewalt multi tool, and using this blade ? (see attached)

It looks like a grout removal blade…I think

You won't even need that blade if they are thermalite

I've used an old bread knife before!

Might need that blade for the mortar
 
They do look like Thermalite type blocks and yes that would work well. They can be cut with an average handsaw too if you need more depth but use an old one or buy a cheap one as it would be no good for timber afterwards.

Virtually any blade in a multi tool will do.
