Hello,
I am fitting a new wc but when it is positioned with the cistern against the wall part of the pan at the rear sits over the soil pipe connection point. That means the cistern and pan will have to be fitted about 60mm from the wall and I'd prefer not to have to do this. If I could cut off a part of the rear of the pan (a piece 100mm high by 10mm thick) then everything would fit nicely against the wall.
What tool can cut through this? I had a go with a tile saw but that made little progress so I 've stopped to see if there is an easier way.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
