i have tiled a wall and have created an overlap (pass the end of the wall), but 2 on the tiles are very slight proud. is it possible to cut the tiles withour removing them? Maybe with a grinder or similar?

try using wet/dry sand paper(high grit) then (low grit)but really depends on type/thickness of tile.

i have a small electric hand held wet saw... very much like a typical wood circular saw except in miniature that uses a 4" diamond blade. it would make short work of that and leave it perfect if you can rent one somewhere. they make dry versions as well but if you use that then use masking tape where you will cut to avoid chipping. the small handhel grinders will work but not leave you with any sort of finished edge that you would care to look at.

if they are slighty proud, try using a rubbing stone, same as wet/dry on a sander.
