Hi ,Dacia Duster with a weird problem .
Near side indicator fails about once every two months . Just stops ,then sometimes when being used it turns all the lights off including the dash.
Everything comes back on when stalk in central position .
Changed the stalk ,made no difference .
If I disconnect the battery for a few minutes everything works fine for a few months .
No garage near me wants to look at it and the nearest main dealer is over 95 miles away .
Just wondering if anyone has come across similar problems .
Thanks

Thanks Mottie .I contacted auto electricians as well as garages and they didn't want to know as its an intermittent fault .
Just trying to see if similar had happened to anyone on here . The Dacia forum was not much help either .

I had a similar thing with a Renault Captur (16 plate).......a new column switch was fitted, worked for a while, but the fault seemed to be in the multiplug that connects it to the loom. I bent the metal contacts just a little and it's been OK so far.
No one is going to welcome this one unless the fault is actually there.
John :)

I would a guess at a problem with the Light Switch Module. On a modern vehicle, all the lighting circuits are controlled by a little computer, called the LSM. Worth finding it, trying unplugging and reconnecting, to clean up the connections, plus checking for signs of moisture damage.
