Hi all, hoping someone can help with some concern I have with a wall in our flat roof garage.

There are cracks in the brickwork where the previous owner looks to have drilled some holes. The issue is there is the door frame and RSJ above which looks like it could collapse.

Trying to understand if it is extremely unsafe and how quickly I need to fix.

Hoping someone can help me!

Your query should be in the Building Forum
I've asked the mods to move it for you.

It's quite a short bearing length for a concrete lintel.

But I think I would try and repair the masonry and leave the lintel in place. This can be done by propping the lintel with a couple of acrow props, before removing the 3 courses of damaged brick. Then rebuild in solid engineering bricks. Ensure the lintel is bearing onto a solid brick (that is, not a half brick or a perpend joint).

It would take an experienced builder a couple of hours.
