Damn Spider webs and gigantic spiders!

Please help, I have tons of spiders webs outside the house, in the eaves, guttering and every right angle joint of our house.

Theyre great for keeping the flies at bay, but come this time of year its unslightly. I have tried a ken dodd type long reach duster (to no avail, and to my wifes amusement) Fiddle sticks!

I have tried power washing it with the 150psi Karcher, but nothing seems to work.

Is there anything else I can try to get rid of the webs???

The place looks a mess with them.

BTW Some of the spiders are big mofo's and appear to get 'smarter' as they get bigger, they know when I'm coming along and hide!!!!

i'd rather kill a thousand flying insects before i would kill a single spider.
