Hi
We've a 1930s extended detached bungalow and we're having problems with damp. I've installed vents in each room to try and help circulate air. The chimneys are already capped, although not sure of the condition besides that. The neighbour mentioned the house was previously covered externally with quite an invasive looking climbing plant. Before we bought the place, they redecorated to try and cover-up the problem.
Any other suggestions on how to beat the problem? Roof survey? Specialist damp survey (are they worth it?).
Thanks
