My mother recently had a bad leak from the hose on her washing machine which went undetected for a long while. Now the problem has been sorted out the house smells very musty, obviously from damp travelling up through the floorboards. She has had her windows opened as much as possible, but this hasn't really helped. Has anyone any suggestions how to solve this problem.
