Can you post some pics?
Have you looked up in the loft for any leaks, or other causes?
Sometimes damp and mould in this area may be due to condensation caused by cold bridging and misplaced insulation in the eaves, or loft condensation, running down the felt and dripping off onto the ceiling.

Hi, Will get some pics this evening, not had anything els checked to be honest, I am thinking of getting a roofer to go up and have a look, the guy who did my gutters said it looked okay up there but you never know. I might pop up into the loft then tonight, should the insulation be right up to the edge or not? Thank you

Yeah, it's worth having a poke around up there, check the insulation is in place, see if any of it is wet and look at the state of your felt.

The insulation should go over the edge of the ceiling onto the wall. However, it shouldn't go completely into the eaves - there should be a gap left to avoid blocking any eave or soffit ventilation.

OP,
Some pics of the eaves detail might help - someone up a ladder with a camera?
Or from FF window - use a selfie on a long batten to pic the soffit(?) fascia and from just below the gutter, and a pic just above the gutter looking down, and showing inside the gutter & the first course of tiles or slates.

I bet there is no insulation along that edge.
Probably a wooden joist just off the wall with 50mm Ish of plasterboard showing. I used to rob some insulation from roof somewhere and shove along.
Seen it so many times especially bungalows..
Always along the edge of outside walls.
Upstairs in houses in bedrooms and bathrooms with high humidity forming on that cold strip of plasterboard along edge.

Insulating will help then you may need to look at lowering humidity
