I have a small damp patch in my dining room which is currently about to be re-plastered.
The damp patch was visiable when i remved the wallpaper in the dning room and is quite "sticky" to touch, When I have scraped over with a scraper it appears t be dry underneath? around the area, a door has been replaced wih a window, leaving an area currently not covered by a damp prood course. Outside concrete has been poured to a level with thefloor level internally.
Questions are. do i need to inject a damp proof course?
Does injection need to take place on both the internal and external skins?
Do I need to tank internally to avoid the possibility of lateral moisture ingress?
Any other considerations
Is therre any reason that the wallpaper paste could cause the damp to occur? or allow more condensation in this area?
