I have a down stairs bathroom which is an extension fitted on a concrete slab.
I have moved a radiator in the last few weeks and because there was no drain fitted had alot of free water on the concrete floor, which i did wipe up but happened a few times. Also i fitted a new bath, where the waste goes directly through the wall to the drains. When i replaced the waste pipe outside i didnt realise for a couple of weeks that the joint was leaking and the joint was about 2-3mm inside the wall, so everytime i drained the bath (daily) some water leaked into the brickwork (above the dpc) . Another thing is the water supply pipes run under the concrete floor, i dont believe i was man handling the pipes when working with them but not sure if i might have disturbed them????!!!!
I have two isolated damp spots about 2m away from the outside wall, ive been using a heated fan to dry these spots (2 days), which has had some result but the damp is still there.
If i have over saturated the floor how long will it take roughly for the water to be drawn out of the concrete?
If i have disturbed the water pipes would there be any way of conducting a pressure test overnight on the pipes?? (or through the combi boiler???)
