I'm in a 1950's brick house - there is a damp course which I believe was installed a long time ago. Recently we've had a blocked gutter, I was slow to sort and a couple of damp patches appeared at the bottom of some internal walls. Hoping that now the guttering is sorted the damp will resolve.

But there are a couple of patches at the bottom of interior walls (i.e. not connected to the outside wall). Could they also be caused by the guttering?

Without eave supports supporting felt any water that gets under tiles can fall short and run down cavity.
Maybe gutter problems caused this?
Maybe you still have a problem with roof and water is running down felt and falling short of gutter.
