Hi all,

I have recently added a new composite door and dry lined my porch which was just brick before. The outside is brick and has lead flashing as you can see in them pictures. But anyway after prepping the plasterboard I finally got to the finals coats of paint and have noticed a damp patch. Any ideas why this could be happening and how I can get rid?

Thanks

Could be any number of reasons. Is the wall single skin? How did you fix the plasterboard?

No double skin and I used plasterboard if I no adhesive. After looking the blue damp proof membrane has kinked slightly in that area so there was a bit of brick showing and the part of the blue membrane was damp.
