Got a damp patch just above the skirting board of an inside wall, it only measures about 6in x 6in,to be honest its been there a number of years but only seems to show up as the weather gets cooler ,about 6in away from it is an air brick,could that be the problem(rain blowing in) is it worth putting silicone in the holes to see if theres any change next year,thers another air brick in the wall about 5 mtrs away. The suspect airbrick was moved one brick higher a few years ago when i got the pointing done as it was just about ground level if thats any hep. Any help much appreciated.
