I have a telephone cable coming through an external wall. With the recent rain it has developed a damp patch round it. The wall is rendered and this has been re done. Anyone got any ideas what I've done wrong?
it is wise to create a 'u' shaped loop in the wire just before it enters the outside wall. this 'u' creates a drip allowing water to run off and not follow the cable into the building.
