Hi
I have found damp patches in my loft but there’s no sign of a leak anywhere else and wondered if anyone has seen this before?

I recently went up to my loft (it’s a rented house) to get some Xmas decorations down & found damp patches on the floor but everywhere else was bone dry?
I have had a look at the ceilings in both bedrooms & there’s no sign of damp on either??

I have attached some pics of that helps

anyone know what this could be??

thanks

Doesn't look like a leak. More likely to be some marks from previous spillage, maybe before the loft floor was even fitted.

Thanks for the reply. I don’t think it’s old as some of it is still wet & we have been living here for 4 months?

Condensation?

I'd be more worried about those pool slides.... :D

Some of the patches do not line up across the board joins..Condensation drops tend to be a bit more uniformly spaced.. But you could run your hand over the back of the felt to see if its damp. Also the OSB (vertical) at the back of the pictures looks an odd colour in the picture is that wet?
