Can any tell me if the green wall I have under a bay window is likely due to a problem with the DPC? Anyone seen anything like this before?

Your DPC will be at top of airbrick, thats why the damp area stops there, it shows your DPC is working.
 
Looks to be a bit above it further round the wall though. Have attached another picture. Inside wall is prone to paint peeling and white salt deposits too

The first pic suggests the curved area of brick is new or repointed, maybe to cover up/deal with a pre existing problem.

You need to check the condition, inside, of, and under, the suspended floor or, if a solid floor, establish if the dp membrane properly laps the dpc.
