Damp proof gone wrong

Can anyone help! I have had damp proof work done on my flat back in early Nov 05. They have still not finished the job, have threatened me with legal action, as I won' settle the bill (£500 remiaing out of a total bill of £4,000). They have done such an awful job, have damaged many things in the house, not to mentiuon the fact I have been living in a building site for over 8 months. I would like to complain to the correct people, in the hope this does not happen to anyone else.

I'm loving the sound of three burly fellows visiting the company. I'm looking for companies/contacts where I can log my complaint really. I want as many people to know just how awful they are, and what a poor job they did. Thanks

I would say the starting point is to use your local Citizens Advice Bureaux, don't forget the donation box

What was the reason you appointed this particular company? How did you come across them?

Probably worth a call to your local trading standards as well. If they get several complaints about the company from different people then they should investigate further.
