If i have laid a concrete floor base with 1200 gauge dpm under, do i still require another dpm sheet over the concrete before insulation and screed, or is the one already in place enough?
You need a polythene sheet over the insulation. it doesn't need to be a proper dpm. It's just to stop the screed losing too much moisture into/ between the insulation.
You could tape the joints, but a) some BCOs prefer polythene sheet, and b) polythene sheet is easier, quicker and more secure.
