Hi need some help and advice in damp proofing the garage. I'm not a builder so I'll try and explain to the best of my knowledge.
I live on a hill and neighbour has flower bed that covers my DC on garage by couple of inches its a 3 high brick inside garage then damp course. Only in the winter I get a slight pool on the floor I know the ideal situation would be to put dig out and gravel against garage but its an established flower bed and not very friendly neighbours.
Have seen some DPM rubberised bitumen emulsion paint at toolstation would this be suitable to do the job or will the damp stay in the bricks and cause further problems. We are only talking about 8ft max of internal wall the rest of garage is ok I guess I would only treat the wall in the garage below the DC
Any advice please.
