Hi,
I have a sandstone lodge that i'm beginning to renovate and the first thing I want to do is make the walls water tight. Not sure what options are available, can you help please!?!

i would have to get on to technical support on this one.

i do know that solid walls are not a good idea to inject particularly if they are thick ie anything above 8" and certainly a no no on anything like 11". the reason being that on a standard 4" leaf of brick a 3" hole is drilled to ensure good saturation of the brick is achieved. on upto an 8" wall this can be achieved by drilling and injecting from both sides.

from experience solid walls are not good to inject full stop whatever the thickness. i would normally tank solid walls to ensure 100% success.

the trouble in this case is that tanking needs to get a good key onto the surface which i don't believe would be the case for sandstone.

hope this helps a little. the tech support line 0845 603 0722 may be worth a try.
