Hi
I wonder if you guys can help with any suggestions;

I have a kitchen extension on the house, but under the stairs it appears to have some rising damp. The extenstion external wall between next doors extension wall there is alot of debris which is over the DPC of the extension.

Could this be the cause of the damp? I have cleared as much as i can reach but the ground is only about an inch below the DPC which i know is no where near low enough.

I would dig a trench to the correct depth below the DPC and fill with gravel if I could reach but basically I cant get at it, id have to either employ a 10 year old the get between the two walls or loose about 10 stone.

Any suggestions?, not to losing 10 stone but whats the best course of action.

I will try and remove the remaining debri from between the walls so the DPC is not covered but this itelf is hard work due to the inaccessibility.

Any suggestions also how i can get at it?

Thanks Guys

Darren
