Hi everyone
I am in need of some help, at the weekend I purchased the Hive (heating and hot water) controller, successfully fitted this downstairs to control downstairs heating and hot water. House built in 2016 has the separate heating controller for upstairs.
This thermostat in the bedroom is controlled but a 2 wires and the controller is battery powered, so I believe there is no power to control the new hive receiver.
I would like the upstairs receiver it put hidden ie in the airing cupboard, but if I can replace the current thermostat with it I would be just as happy.
If it does need to be placed in the airing cupboard, this is where I need some help, I understand the hive receiver needs power and then the on/off wires which currently go to the bedroom thermostat, but I just don't know which ones to power it and give it power.
Any help would be amazing.
Thanks in advance
Thanks Luke
