Hi Guys
I have a failed Danfoss FP975
With a SET wall plate mounting.

Tried to find something that will directly replace this but no direct equivalent is made. Would anybody know of a controller that uses a SET wall plate mount I could swap with ?

There are so many of them, I would recommend the ACL Drayton LP range, whwn you remove the existing, chech what the setting configuration is and set the replacement to the same

Danfoss FP975 has voltage free contact set. If you are using 250 volt switching, I would recommend FP715

MK4 small pins so won’t clip onto the wall plate I have and connect without rewiring

Links above show a standard programmer that utilises wiring plate that does not have voltage free switching ie, N,L, off, on, off, on terminals with addition of earth tag

FP975 each zone has three terminals instead of on and off to allow desired voltage switching instead of 240 volts internal link to the two connections for either channel

In order to use above controls, existing plate will need replaced else new programmer will not fit 8 terminal back plate unless off course I am missing something

Dave what is the issue with the programmer
I am sure there is a replacement programmer made by Danfoss, but am unable to locate the model designation.
Use FP715 but you will need to Rewire the mounting plate. Ignore the COM terminal as the link that is hard wired on existing plate exists internally on FP715 mounting plate

Stay with Danfoss range dimply because you are familiar with this programmer operation

Looks like the Danfoss was made for a non industry standard backplate (Mk9) which is discontinued, so either like for like 795 or change wiring for any industry standard one? Or does it fit industry standard?
