Hi, I have looked but couldn't find an answer so I hope someone can help!
We have an oil fired boiler controlled by Danfoss FP715 timer and MT230 thermostat. The heating is on constant with thermostat set at 16-18 deg and works fine throughout the day switching on and off at temp..
The problem occurs when the timer switched the hot water on, then the thermostat wont switch off and just keeps heating up well in excess of 24 deg (usually by now we turn the heating off until the water goes off) when the timer switches the water off it works fine again.
Any ideas what the issue might be, we live in a rented house and didn't want to bother the landlord if it was something simple.
