Daylight showing through roof gaps (ed.)

Hi!

So my chimney is in need of repair which I'm aware of as I have a leak. I have a quote for the work however I nipped my head up this morning as I could see a spot of light from where I stood at the bottom of the ladders as I have the dehumidifier on and saw there were a few more little spots of light. Should I be concerned? It's not major light leakage as some I've seen but wondered if it's worth just getting my roof redone as I'm having my chimney (I'm not well off you see so this would be a HUGE hit).

If your roof is not felted, it is not unusual to see cracks of light between the tiles if not leaking don't worry.

DIYRuby, Why not post a few pics of the chimney stack that needs repair from inside the loft & outside on the roof. Perhaps you could get save a few bob advice from the forum?
