I have my heart set on a white induction hob (that I don't have to bankrupt myself buying).

So far, I've only found them by De Dietrich or Gorenje.

Which make is the better of the two? Gorenje certainly have a 5 year warrantly but I found a retailer that had stopped dealing with them because of service issues. I've also found very mixed opinions on De Dietrich as well - either great or cr@p and they say their customer service is bad as well.

Gorenje and Repaircare, never want to acknowledge a fault.
Do research read reviews especially regarding Repaircare as it is them you will have to deal with when you want help not Gorenje.

Repaircare make it their utmost job to make sure you do not get heard properly even down to twisted information and different departments also carry out a check of the call out from Repaircare for anything you buy as that is what you may have to pay or be charged if they find no fault and it's not cheap.

I wouldn't buy anything from Gorenje now ever and if someone gave me an appliance new id stick it in my Garden for the Scrap man.

They may have a 5 year warranty but try and get them to repair under it.

If it's one thing I've learnt it's investigate who is covering the Warranty as the manufacturer will hide behind that and not communicate with you at all.

Repaircare won't be in my life again in a hurry that's for sure.
