Decking Handrail

I just watched a you tube video on fitting a handrail and it shows the post 'boxed in' my question is:

I want to add a bannister to the top level of the garden I have no decking here, would the post be adequately supported (1.5m post) if it was concreted in compared to boxed in and screwed to the decking?

Alternative is to buy 3m posts but this seems excessive and doubles the cost, I want it to be right hence this post

Yes of coarse it is, concreted in as long as the posts are solid, the handrail well fixed - excellent...pinenot
