Hi chaps not sure whether to use 47x150 joist hangers on both sides of the frame for the 2x6 timber crosses, I could cut out the timber to sit on top of the 2x6 facings, although would need to drop them a bit to level the top, so not sure do I do that and save cash or do I put hangers on each side?
thanks

Fix through the long joist into the end grain of the cross piece, which leaves room to fix the wings of the joist hanger on the other side.

think I will just do hangers both sides, so you mean screw thru on cross piece but then still add hanger for extra support on the inside?

No, hanger one side only. Two hangers would work if there were enough fixing holes to alternate, or maybe plenty of shorter screws that wouldn't overlap.

Please see attached, red is hangers for both end of the 2x6 joists.

I would then add some support underneath the joists to.

I think the left cross needs to go outside the posts not screwed to the inside?

Thanks

Looks better on the outside IMO because it creates a skirting effect
