Decking Spindles Advice

Hi all, almost finished laying my decking now, on the weekend will be putting handrails and spindles on. Can anyone give me a rough idea on how far spindles should be spaced? is it every 4 inches? need to calculate how many i need for the particular area i want to cover.

afaik it should be treated the same as a Bannister,95 mm.
