Hello everyone,

I have a Honeywell thermostat that I would like to decommission as we have a tado smart heating system. I had in my notes that the model is a T6360B1028 but looking at the user manual for the T6360, the wiring diagram doesn’t quite match up.

In order for the tado system to work, the Honeywell thermostat needs to be on all the time, i.e. turned up as high as it goes. To that end, can anyone advise as to which wires I need to connect to achieve this? I have 32A 2-way connectors but can grab a 3-way connector if neccessary.

For what it’s worth or isn’t otherwise obvious, I have a blanking plate for the backbox so that I can reinstall the Honeywell should we sell and take our tado away with us.

Thanks

The wiring diagram does match up to the T6360B, it's just that the terminals aren't layed out as neatly (and numerically), as in the diagram :)

Additionally to connecting the Red and Yellow wires together in a single terminal block, the Blue (neutral) wire in terminal 2, also needs to be safely isolated in its own terminal block.

Great, thank you both. Will do this later.

Have a good day :)

Edit: quick update, wiring advice is all good; thermostat gone, tado still working - thank you, again!
