Hi all,
We've just moved into an old cottage and we are about to decorate
the bathroom which we want to tile. (There are no tiles on the walls
at the moment, just some plastic looking wallpaper)
The person we bought the house from told us that all the walls in
the house/bathroom had been lined. What does this mean exactly ?
.......and do we have to remove this lining and expose the plaster
before we can do any tiling ?
Why would the walls need to be lined in the first place - Is this
because it's an old cottage ?
Can anyone recommend any good waterproof materials (apart
from tiles) which can be used for bathroom walls ?
Any help would be much appreciated.
