I have read the other threads similar to this. It now seems that the grill comes on for a few minutes, then trips. We will try slowly warming up the grill to drive out any moisture. More degrees than a thermometer here. Thanks everyone
If its of interest/useful, my combined over/grill has top, rear and bottom grill elements. It was in the house I moved into 2 years ago and was tripping the RCD. On investigation, both the top and rear elements were both leaking to earth.
Its an old Kuppersbusch and the label was faded so I measured the elements, got the power ratings off the fixings and sourced new ones. The oven is now working well.
By the way 0.35MΩ is a very low reading for insulation resistance.
