I guess this is what I need go do. The seal circled won't seal. Is it lots of bowls of steaming water. Turn off electricity and plastic scraper? Never done it before. It's a fridge/freezer. I've been using tape to try and close it properly.

The plastic freezer drawers won't push in easily all the way

Wrap all the food and put it in a cardboard box, inside another cardboard box.

Anything that thaws, cook and eat. Or you can freeze stuff like casseroles if freshly cooked and cooled. Meat and fish are particularly dangerous if they get warm

So called "frost free freezers" are the worst. They have air ducts hidden in the back wall that clog with frost, and eventually block solid with ice. As it is not exposed you can't get at it and it is slow to melt. Leave it turned off with the door open until all drips have stopped, both inside the cabinet and into the collection dish at the back. Clean it out and do not let it overflow.

If you turn it on before the ducts are clear you have wasted your time.

Don't poke or hammer it.
