I have a converted basement that suffers from high humidity.
The room has a humidistat extractor in it at the moment.
This alone doesn't bring down the humidity enough so I run a dehumidifier.
My query is this.
Am I correct in thinking that I should use one or the other?
I'm thinking if I use the dehumidifier that slightly warms the air and dries the air then the extractor kicks in it will be pumping out all the nice dry air and the dehumidifier will have to dry out some new air?
