Hello Just bought my first Dehumidifier and am so embarrassed to have to ask how I set the Humidity? Does it mean what the Humidity is now in the room concerned or does it mean the level I want to reach? Don't know the answer to either!!!!!

Between 30 and 50% is ideal but it's your preference and I suspect as you cannot know what humidity is in the room , you set it to what you want to achieve, it will be a little trial and error for you to find the setting you prefer

Set it for the humidity you wish to achieve.
Don't set too low as will cost you a fortune.
Try and get a balance between it reducing the humidity and not being on all the time.
