Ay Caramba !!

Don't bother unless they hurt, that's my motto. I haven't been since 1978 and they seem fine. In fact, I go to the US on business a lot and people often say that I have nice teeth..........for an Englishman.

Over to you Mr Blair.

Tony Blair in 2002 'everyone will have a dentists' yeah right, more lies

I now have to travel miles because all the local dentists has gone over to Denplan system which you have to pay monthly as it's now private.

It was only last week they come up with a plan not to queue up outside the dentists and just use the phone instead, feeling guilty are they?

Ours went private last year and we now have to pay amonthly fee by driect debit. To get my money's worth I always insist he gives me extra fillings whenever I visit!

OMFG that must be more than a weeks money for you

I think I must be pretty lucky, we moved back here and I had booked the family in for check-ups within 2 weeks! It was the 3rd Dentist I had tried but still only took me about 10 minutes on the phone!

I was more peeved because we had moved out of the area covered by my previous GP's surgery but the ones we have are fine too :D

Suppose it's one of the benefits of rural living :D

My dentist wanted only 800 people on his book instead of 2500 how it was before it went to Denplan

My dentist is now earning a lot more for less hours and has to get rid if 1700 clients to do it  Over to you Mr Blair....................

So dentist's greed is Tony Blair's fault?? Can't see that logic somehow!

Tony Blair promises everyone will see a dentists by 2002 under the nhs and we are still waiting 4 years later, a bit like a first class nhs he's mention  Does anyone believe him anymore?

My local dentist is a close friend of mine who couldn't cope with the demands so went to private Denplan instead and what will happen if or when all the dentists find out that's the way to go? My dentist do feel guilty of getting rid his clients but got fed up working long hours under the nhs system.

The way I'm seeing it, this will put more and more pressure on the nhs dentists with more on a waiting lists for the nhs because of what is happening.
