Have a fairly new house (<10yrs), and was wondering the depth of the DPM under the concrete sub base. Does anybody know?

Thanks

Pop down to your local BCO and they will show you your property drawing plans with the details.

i can think of 3 locations - (remember that the dpm is only a thick polythene or liquid bitumen applied ontop of the slab)

1. directly ontop of the concrete slab.

2. directly below the slab.

3. directly below the insulation (around 50mm for that era)which is below the slab.

OR do you have a beam and block floor (should regular airbricks at low level on the outside walls)- if so this may not have a dpm at all
